Digital Pen For Peeps That Don’t Type Text Messages

Text Message Pen

I am not a text messaging person. I can’t type that fast on a tiny keyboard. I guess I grew up in the wrong era. You will never see me tapping out messages on my cell phone. But this gadget is a pen that turns your writing into a text message. Perhaps this digital fountain pen is the answer for those of us similarly compromised. This I could see using. All you need is something to write on, whether it be a scrap of paper or a bar napkin, and a bluetooth enabled cell phone. The pen has a little LED screen that will display your message status. The optical sensor is beneath the nib. There are their digital pens out there but this one differs in that you can write on any surface. You do not need special paper. Pretty clever device isn’t it?

I suppose to some this would seem like more effort than just using the phone… these people haven’t seen me peck my way around a keypad. I guess I’m “oldskool”, but this seems like a really cool idea. I can’t avoid the texting craze because everyone does it and though I don’t mind it, it takes me FORRRRR-EVERRRRRR! Good one!!

This is a wonderful tool for those of us with chubby fingers that don’t work well with tiny keypads. Great find!

Neat idea. A lot of cell phones don’t even have a full qwerty keyboard, so this could be a step up from there.

This is an awesome invention! I am not much of a txt message person either, I hate doing it but sometimes it’s easier and faster than calling someone up that you don’t want to get into a long conversation with. I would buy one!

It takes me forever to punch in a text message. I learned to type on a manual typewriter in the 70s, so that probably explains it.

I want one of these gizmos now, even though I can’t afford it!

If they start making this, I’ll be first in line. I’m terrible at txting, so this would work for me. If it could store notes taken from meetings, etc it would be even cooler!
