Mobile Printer Requires No Ink!

The new Polaroid POGO is innovative mobile printer technology at it’s best. There are no computer connections needed. You simply print directly from your camera or call phone. Best of all, it uses no ink! The prints are water-resistant, tear-proof and smudge-proof. Utilizing special technology called ZINK, which appropriately enough stands for zero ink, the dyes are embedded in the paper and are activated by heat pulses from the printer. An ingenious idea!
You simply use the USB cord from your camera or transfer images wirelessly to the printer via your Bluetooth enabled call phone. What could be easier?
Of course if you are in the market for a more traditional mobile printer, there’s always the HP Deskjet Mobile Printer which isn’t as small but gets the job done, albeit with those expensive ink cartridges.

Sounds like a replacement for the Polaroid camera. Not bad, I hope they can make it more portable.

I have seen this thing and it is quite impressive. It is extremely small and starts printing immediately. I’m sure it will be on a lot of x-mas lists this year!

I work at the Science Museum in Louisville, KY and would love to have this for some of the school groups that come through. I have read that they are stickers also. How much fun!!
