Bamboo PC From Dell
In keeping with Earth Week I though I would share this bamboo encased computer from Dell.
As well as having an eco-friendly case, this computer is smaller and uses less power than the standard Dell. It also looks pretty sweet and the price is reasonable at between $500 - $700 presuming the goods inside are the usual standard stuff. Due to be released later this year no one knows exactly what’s inside yet. I like that Dell is going in this direction with the smaller footprint, both physically and ecologically. Hopefully other computer manufacturers will follow suite.

That is really cool, but wouldn’t it get really hot? Even if it has a fan on the back it’d still be more difficult for heat to escape via the top, bottom, and sides if there’s wood there instead of plastic.
