Terabyte Thumb Drives The Biggest Little Storage Gadgets

I wrote about terabyte hard drives in a previous post and with glee announced that enormous capacities of data storage are now reasonably priced.

Amazingly, now Terabyte thumb drives are on the horizon! These tiny drives are 1,000 times more efficient than flash drives at a tenth of the cost and in a few short years they will be available to consumers. Then it’s only a matter of time before you can store your entire computer contents and then some on your thumb drive. Imagine carrying your entire video and music library in your pocket. Just make sure it doesn’t have a hole in it!

Michael Kozicki, who is the director of Arizona State’s Center for Applied Nanoionics developed this new technology. And as you can imagine, there is a lot of excitement about this new method of storage.
