Bird Feeder’s New Twist on Soda Bottle

Check out this clever way to recycle those plastic soda bottles and feed the birds at the same time.

Bird Feeder

In 1984, Norman Earl invented the Soda Bottle Bird Feeder, by making a cast zinc adaptor that converts any plastic two-liter bottle into a bird feeder. Hung from a tree or mounted to a pole, it’s squirrel-proof and will keep your fine feathered friends well fed all year. It’s made in U.S.A and can be ordered at Design Within Reach for $15.00.

Oh my, this is a very creative and environmental friendly idea indeed.

Maybe I also can do it my own :)

I like this one. I’m always trying to find a good use for old soda bottles, even though we try to recycle them it seems like reusing them for something like a bird feeder is a great idea.
