I've been doing this for years by plugging the tape monitor output of my stereo into the line input of my sound card and running sound recording software, CoolEdit in my case but anything will work. We have since given our 400+ album collection to some friends 13 year olds who are having a great time with them. I'm happy to see a product that simplifies the process and helps todays kids enjoy the music of the 60's and 70's. This is what recycling is all about!

I had a similar experience this weekend, my 4yr old found a cassette tape and had no idea what it was...I know she is only four but it dawns on one self that my kid has never experienced a cassette tape and probably never will...crap.
