Last FM - Social Radio that Rocks
I discovered this social radio site, Last FM on someone’s Stumble page in their profile. Up until now Pandora was my internet radio of choice until I found this gem. I love music and I am always looking for new artists.
This is my main page screen shot of my radio at Last FM.
You can see in the above screen shot, the album that I am listening to, listeners hearing the same music right below the album, and the profile of the group on the top left with similar artists below that. Last Fm will help me discover new music, rediscover old favorites and more. Some great features I’ve found so far are:
The list of similar artists with each song; a list of who was listening to that exact song; a list of top listeners; the option to buy these and other songs; a biography of each artist as you listen; the ability to add and find friends; ability to embed a track or a widget showing your last listened songs on your blog, website, MySpace or Facebook, that updates as you listen; option to send shouts to other listeners and friends and share songs; mark songs as loved; tag songs.
You can use tags to find songs and to label your own. And of course there is a forum.
The sound quality is excellent so you have nothing to lose by giving it a try. Just download the small program and get started. Add me, Onaridge, as your friend when you get there and say hello!

I have been loving Jango. You should check it out!! While I have not listened to Last.fm very much, I have been a huge Pandora fan. I think that I like Jango even better.

I’m huge on Last.FM (way better than Pandora for me) … It’s got a mindboggling amount of features really. And of course the keeping track of what you play is fun too.
