Best Mascara Ever

I don’t do mascara too often these days, but when I do I hate clumps and eyelashes sticking together. I picked up some Great Lash Define-A-Lash based on an ad I saw somewhere and I am glad I did. The stuff really goes on easily and there is no clumping. I have tried all kinds and brands over 30 years including those that profess they don’t clump but I have never found one yet….until this guy. I think the key is in the flexible stick and brush. Whatever it is, it works and I highly recommend it. Maybeline calls it “zero clump mascara”. They are right!
Tip: Unless you have olive or dark skin, don’t buy black…buy brownish/black or you’ll look like Elvira!

Bought this on your say-so and have to disagree. For years, I used Maybelline Great Lash which is still great but…I have discovered over the years, that much depends on the length of your lashes. The latter was great but always left flecks under my eyes because of the length.
If you’re willing to spend $23, the very best is Lancome Defencil which comes in a straight or curved brush. Got this tip from a Spanish student who lived with us one summer in Ireland in the 70’s and I haven’t looked back since. Sorry.

I found the Maybelline to be overrated myself. For the last year or so I’ve used L’Oreal Volume Shocking and liked it. My only complaint is that the wand gets gummed up and needs to be replaced before the mascara itself does. But it looks good - a little more intense than the regular Maybelline.

Interesting. I’ll check out the L’Oreal. The Lancome is way beyond my budget!
The Maybelline Definealash is nothing like Great Lash.
