Interesting. I'll check out the L'Oreal. The Lancome is way beyond my budget!
The Maybelline Definealash is nothing like Great Lash.

I found the Maybelline to be overrated myself. For the last year or so I've used L'Oreal Volume Shocking and liked it. My only complaint is that the wand gets gummed up and needs to be replaced before the mascara itself does. But it looks good - a little more intense than the regular Maybelline.

Bought this on your say-so and have to disagree. For years, I used Maybelline Great Lash which is still great but...I have discovered over the years, that much depends on the length of your lashes. The latter was great but always left flecks under my eyes because of the length.

If you're willing to spend $23, the very best is Lancome Defencil which comes in a straight or curved brush. Got this tip from a Spanish student who lived with us one summer in Ireland in the 70's and I haven't looked back since. Sorry.
