If you are like me and go away for the weekend occasionally you want to know that your feline companion is eating and is alive and well. This self feeder has a video camera attached so that you can monitor your pet’s intake and see how he or she is doing. If you have a caretaker that lets your dog out a few times a day this will work for Fido too. This system will allow you to schedule feedings and take pictures at those times. All you need is remote access to your computer or your laptop.

Nice…this would be handy with my three cats when we go away. I am not sure about a dog…they still need to go out.

This is amazing! We always bring our cat(s) to a relative’s house for long trips, but I would LOVE something like this when we’re away for just a day or two.
Knowing my weirdo cat, tho, he’d probably be afraid of the video gadget and refuse to eat.

At first I thought that this was pathetic, but really after a moments thought it makes sense that some people want to protect their babies as though they were human babies. Good idea!
