This is a list of some the best digital photo frames available today. I picked the best reviews from the folks at Retrevo. The general consensus seems to be that going with anything less than 800 X 480 pixels is not a good idea.
The Kodak Easyshare EX-811 
is an 8-inch 800 X 480 pixel digital picture frame with wireless capability and has 128 MB of memory. If you want to stream digital photos from your computer you can, with the built in wireless function. You can upload pictures via USB or a flash card.
The Pandigital LCD Digital Picture Frame
is also 8 inches and wireless but it’s 800 X 600 pixels and comes in sizes all the way up to 15 inches.
The Digital Spectrum MemoryVue
has a 10.4 inch frame and is also wireless. 8 X 10 photos look very good on this frame but it is the most expensive of the three at over $300.

This was a great help. I went into Fry’s electronics the other day, thought this would be a simple gift choice but there were so many choices and beyond the look no way to tell them apart. I asked the girl on the floor and she was not a help either. Came across this list from Retrevo and now I know what I should get. Thanks guys!
