The Sony Cybershot DSC-T70 is a very unique camera. It has a smile detection function! They call it the smile shutter which trips when a person or persons smile. It can track and detect up to 8 faces. You have two choices on how this function can work. You can touch the LCD and select a face which alerts the camera to single out only that person and take a shot when they smile, or it can wait for the first smile to appear and then snap 6 successive shots without your having to press the shutter. How sensitive is it? According to Consumer Reports, it works very well. It won’t detect slight smiles, but is very good at detecting real smiles. It doesn’t hurt that it’s 8.1 megapixels which will give you 16 X 22 inch prints!
You don’t have to go to photography school in order to take a good picture. Many point-and-shoot cameras take the guesswork out of photo taking, plus you can always get a quick online education in photography. In fact, there are many education grants offered to students looking to pursue a career in photography or photojournalism.

8 Megapixels, from such a small device. I purchased a cybershot similar to this in Q4′06 and it was only capable of 5mpx back then.
