Alligator Gadget Repels Geese From Ponds
We have a pond which is pictured below. Right now it’s still a little frozen, however soon that will change.
And with that change comes the arrival of geese. Geese poop on the banks of the pond and there is nothing worse then sticking a bare foot into some squishy goose poop. Now I have nothing against geese as long as they stay on the pond. But they don’t. We used to own a border collie that would jump in and chase them away but our current canine family member is a chocolate lab and he would rather sunbathe than chase birds.
Enter the solar alligator decoy. This looks like it just might work! It’s pretty clever and it would certainly make any passers-by thinking of stealing a dip on a hot day, think twice. It’s solar powered so it’s mantanance free and you can anchor it or let it float.

lol if I had seen this maybe 4 years ago I would have probably been interested. However, have since changed my mind about these critters and have one that I have been helping and through her I have learned much more about their personalities along with our interference in their lives and have become much more accepting of their droppings and noise than I once was.
