Mower Cycle?

When we were kids we used to dream up things like this and sometimes we actually succeeded in making our contraptions. This mower cycle reminded me of the good ol’ days when we designed and cobbled together various devices to make our lives either easier or more fun. It’s a great way to use an otherwise useless lawn mower since the top is missing. I have no idea where this mower cycle was made and the photo was seen in dot dream’s flickr stream.
I bet we could have mowed a lot faster with this “riding mower” design!

That is awesome. If I had kids, I would make them ride this around the lawn.

I remember pushing these by hands when I was a kid… kinda hard. This has to be one heck of a calf workout!!

Remembered seeing a bunch of these on Kevin Kelly’s site (http://www.kk.org/streetuse/archives/2007/09/great_minds_think_alike_the_bi.php) - along with some other ghetto hacks.

I wish someone would manufacture a bicycle mower. That would be sweet to be able to ride while cutting the grass.

I think the front wheels need to be normal and that the chain needs to be connected to the mower to get it going, maybe even a bicycle with four wheels, mower at the front and two people powering it! What a workout!
