Black & Decker Lightweight Cordless Tools
I received a Black & Decker starter set to evaluate a few days ago. This set is due to be released to the public next month. The box contains battery operated tools consisting of a screw driver, a cutsaw a charger and a flashlight. The tools are very light because they use a lithium ion battery. Lithium ion batteries are one of the most popular types of battery for cordless tools and electronics, with one of the best energy-to-weight ratios, no memory effect, and a slow loss of charge. This set would be a welcome addition to anyones toolbox but I think women would especially appreciate it because it’s easy to use and very light.
I love the flashlight. It has a strap and contains 3 very bright LEDs. The heads swivels up and down too which makes it very handy for getting behind things. The cut saw comes with two blades. I used the saw to to remove a small branch from a tree and to cut cardboard. Obviously you can use it for wood as well. The screwdriver comes with two bits. One end is a Phillips head and the other is a flat head. Everyone needs a cordless screwdriver, right?
